Syndicate memberships available · 28 March 2008
Each year one or two slots become available in the Delphi fishing syndicate as members retire. Syndicate members are entitled to a (set) week in a cottage with fishing for two. The membership takes the form of a lease which expires after the 2019 season. Members pay an index-linked annual managment fee (currently Euros €450) and cottage energy usage bills, but otherwise the cottage and fishing are free.
At present there are openings in weeks 34 (2008 start 16/8), 35 (23/8) and 38 (13/9). These were all prime sea trout weeks when first launched in 1988, but now they can be respectable salmon weeks, albeit with some coloured fish. The salmon runs, however, have been getting later and later, bringing these weeks closer to the peak of the summer runs.
If you are interested in making an offer for any of these weeks (guide price €5,000 to €7,000) – or registering an interest in any other weeks which might become available – do contact me.
